Board of Ordained Ministry
The Board of Ordained Ministry is that part of our "organized life" which plays a vital role in
- receiving from the local church its naming of those discerned to be called by the Spirit of Christ for "set-apart" leadership
- guiding the educational, spiritual, physical and emotional preparation for such leadership,
- exercising the credentialing procedures for consecration, ordination, or licensing, and
- upholding standards of continuing education, effectiveness in ministry, and moral/ethical faithfulness to the standards upheld by our office.
